Zero valent iron and nickel coordination chemistry: metal atoms as direct approach to bis(benzene)chromium bridged N-heterocyclic silylene complexes
Abstract
A bis(benzene) chromium bridged bidentate organometallic silylene pincer ligand is introduced for zerovalent iron and nickel. The pincer ligand and its Fe complex are accessible by a direct metal-atom route under extremely mild chimie douce conditions.
