Toluene early morning peaks as potential biogenic stress signals of Mediterranean forests
Abstract
Early-morning toluene peaks in 2021–2023 summers at Montseny's Mediterranean forest were linked to high temperatures and low humidity, suggesting a biogenic response to Quercus ilex drought stress.
