Green chemistry design of one-step extraction of multi-functionalized lignin-precursors directly from biomass
Abstract
A one-step green process converts pinewood sawdust into multifunctional lignin precursors using maleic acid and diallyl carbonate, while simultaneously yielding a carbohydrate-enriched residue.
