Green hydrogen from water electrolysis: supply chain emissions assessment and net-zero pathways
Abstract
This work quantifies scope 1–3 impacts for major electrolysis technologies and shows that upstream materials and electricity carbon intensity dominate GHG outcomes. A net-zero grid reduces emissions by 79–90%.
