Abstract

Dual N/Se-doped resorcinol-formaldehyde microspheres (Se-RF) were developed for efficient Pd recovery. The N moieties, derived from ammonia act as “protonated dispersive bait”, while Se centers act as “specific anchoring sites” for Pd( ii ).
