Lignin-stabilizing fractionation enables production of uncondensed lignin and digestible carbohydrates
Abstract
Alkali fractionation with a lignin stabilization process improves the performance of enzymatic hydrolysis, reduces the condensation of lignin, and generates light-colored, stable and low-molecular-weight lignin.
