3D DLP printed mechanochromic materials for visual signaling
Abstract
Spiropyran-containing formulations allow DLP printing of complex 4D mechanochromic structures. The printed tube turns from yellow to purple when compressed. Visible light restores color and shape, showing reversible behavior and sensing potential.
