Ring-opening polymerization and epimerization of l -lactide catalyzed by indium( iii ) acetate: synthesis, characterization, and computational validation
Abstract
The catalytic activity of indium( iii ) acetate [In(OAc) 3 ] in the ROP of l -lactide and its role in inducing epimerization during the polymerization process, as validated by DFT calculations, is reported.
