Abstract

Two chemosensors derived from acenaphthene-imidazole hybrid were synthesized and characterised for the purpose of detecting tin (Sn 2+ ) and copper (Cu 2+ ) ions detection limits were calculated to be 1.2 × 10 −9 M and 2.1 × 10 −9 M, respectively.
