Controllable in situ growth of highly dispersed nano-SiO 2 on steel slag powder for enhancing cement-based materials
Abstract
Uniformly dispersed spherical nano-SiO 2 (∼50 nm) was grown in situ on steel slag powder and anchored via Si–O–Si covalent bonds. Maintaining loading ≤10.37 wt% prevented agglomeration, enhancing cement-based materials more effectively.
