Tailoring the phase transition pathway of Ag 2 Te nanowires via surface confinement: an in situ transmission electron microscopy study
Abstract
This study introduces a carbon-encapsulation strategy that alters the phase transition pathway of Ag 2 Te nanowires, which enables a novel transition to Ag 5 Te 3 at 180 °C and Te at 200 °C, forming a Ag 2 Te–Te p–n heterojunction with rectifying behavior.
