Abstract

A new methodology for the synthesis of unknown 5-alkylidene-2,3,5,6,7,8-hexahydroimidazo[1,2- a ]pyridines is reported through the intramolecular cyclization of linear bis-α,β-alkynic ketone precursors via an imidazoline intermediate.
