Abstract

Pregnancy-adapted VPA delivery: systemic dosing increases fetal exposure via placental transfer. Intranasal nano-encapsulated VPA targets the maternal brain, reducing systemic and fetal exposure while preserving seizure control and improving reproductive safety.
