Abstract

The N 2 -plasma technique converts NiFe-LDH surfaces into an ultrathin FeOOH film, promoting the formation and stability of NiOOH and blocking Cl − from active sites. The electrode shows outstanding OER performance in alkaline seawater electrolytes.
