Abstract

A high-nuclearity fullerene-like heteropolyoxometalate, Mo24V30P48, was successfully synthesized by a one-pot method, exhibiting a unique four-shell {Mo 24 }@{V 30 P 48 }@{Na 24 }@{Na 8 } arrangement.
