Core extension of alkylene-encapsulated perylene bisimides
Abstract
Perylene bisimides are dually functionalized: encapsulation along the vertical axis and π-extension along the horizontal axis. They exhibit intriguing properties, particularly cyclization-enhanced photoinduced electron transfer and F − sensing.
