Pd( ii )-catalyzed aerobic dual C–N bond formation: oxygen-dependent divergence between dihydroquinazolinone and aza-Michael pathways, an experimental and computational study
Abstract
A selective, eco-friendly aerobic Pd( ii )-catalyzed three-component reaction in water converts isatoic anhydrides, anilines, and acrylamides to dihydroquinazolin-4(1 H )-ones. Without O 2 , the pathway switches to an aza-Michael adduct.
