Abstract

Herein, we describe a Rh( iii )-catalyzed cascade reaction between 2-pyridones and diazonaphthalen-2(1 H )-ones, providing an efficient and convenient synthetic route to 6-(2-(pyridin-2-yloxy)naphthalen-1-yl)pyridin-2(1 H )-ones.
