Abstract

Z -1,2-Bis(tetrazol-5-yl)ethylene was synthesized, crystals were obtained and the photochemical and physicochemical properties revealed. Sodium and cesium complexes of the E / Z -isomer were constructed and their coordination modes were elucidated.
