Probing the weak interaction between silver and boron
Abstract
Photoelectron spectra of AgB 8 − reveal that the Ag atom has little perturbation to the electronic structure of the B 8 − cluster. The weak bonding between Ag and the B 8 surface confirms the fact that silver is the most inert substrate to grow borophene.
