Electrochemical fractionation of stable sulfur isotopes in a rechargeable lithium–sulfur battery: a revisit from the law of mass conservation
Abstract
Mass conservation of stable S isotopes was verified in a cycled Li–S battery: 32 S is enriched at the anode and in the electrolyte with a high separation factor ( α ) and a low yield ( Y ), while 34 S is enriched at the cathode with a low α and a high Y .
