Calcium pyrenide: a room-temperature reagent for stoichiometric calciations and reductive Ca 2+ intercalation reactions
Abstract
Calcium pyrenide was synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray crystallography and demonstrated as a competent room-temperature stoichiometric reductant enabling the rapid screening of materials for the reductive intercalation of calcium.
