Janus NiN 4 –CuN 4 catalyst supported by a double-layered ZIF-8 structure for CO 2 electrocatalytic reduction to C 2+ products
Abstract
The inner NiN 4 layer adsorbs CO 2 and catalyzes its conversion to CO, while the CO diffuses outward. The outer CuN 4 layer reduces CO 2 (CO 2 RR) at high CO concentration, producing 24.4% CH 3 CH 2 CH 2 OH.
