Achieving broadband NIR emission through multiple centers of isolated Cr 3+ and Cr 3+ –Cr 3+ ion pairs resulting from phase segregation in SrLa 2 Ga 2 O 7
Abstract
The SrLa 2 Ga 2 O 7 :Cr 3+ phosphor was synthesized via a solid-state reaction, which exhibits an ultra-broad emission spanning 700–1200 nm, originating from Cr 3+ in the SLG lattice, isolated Cr 3+ and Cr 3+ –Cr 3+ ion pairs in La 4 GaO 9 .
