Solvent- and heat-induced polymorphic transformation with single-crystal integrity in Cu( ii ) paddle wheel metal complexes
Abstract
SCSC of [Cu 2 (benzoate) 4 (24F-4spy) 2 ] paddle wheel complex two novel polymorphs confirmed by SCXRD. Form II is photostable but form I showed [2+2]CAR. A rare examples of Cu( ii ) complexes conformation is very key to undergo SCSC and [2+2]CAR discussed.
