Abstract

Least preferred guest, p -xylene, occupied bidirectional channels in its complex with N , N ′-bis(9-(4-methoxyphenyl)-9 H -xanthen-9-yl)ethane-1,2-diamine, while more favoured o - and m -xylene were located in unidirectional channels.
