Charge transfer and electron jumping for highly tribocatalytic H 2 O 2 generation of silicon powder materials
Abstract
Silicon powder with a narrow bandgap of 1.12 eV harnesses mechanical friction energy at the PTFE interface to generate electron–hole pairs. This tribocatalytic approach achieves an H 2 O 2 generation concentration of approximately 174.6 µmol L −1 .
