Utilizing the hydrogen evolution reaction: a bio-inspired pH-sensitive electrolyte for ultra-stable zinc-ion batteries at high temperatures
Abstract
A bio-inspired pH-sensitive electrolyte utilizes the unwanted HER as an initial high-pH microenvironment and drives the additive into a ZrO 2 /ZnF 2 layer, facilitating practical Zn-ion batteries with superior cycling stability at high temperatures.
