Beyond electronic effects: hydrogen-bond engineering via N-mediated microenvironment control for accelerated oxygen electroreduction
Abstract
We constructed cobalt porphyrin frameworks with precise N gradation to unveil the dual role of N: withdrawing electrons from Co sites and forming ordered hydrogen-bond networks to facilitate proton transfer, thereby boosting ORR kinetics.
