Algae-inspired hydrogel electrolytes with sulfate group-mediated polyiodide repulsion for stable iodine chemistry
Abstract
An algae-inspired hydrogel electrolyte enables sulfate group-mediated dual-interfacial regulation in aqueous zinc–iodine batteries. The “repulsion–adsorption” synergy manages to suppress polyiodide shuttle and stabilize zinc deposition.
