Lignin and phenylenediamine synergy in carbon dots: deciphering the origin of long-wavelength photoluminescence and the carbon core growth
Abstract
Hybrid carbon dots exhibit an evolution mechanism wherein a p -phenylenediamine-derived red fluorophore provides high quantum yield, and lignin forms a robust carbon core, enabling superior long-wavelength photoluminescence and photostability.
