Abstract

Ni/zeolite ZK-14 (fly ash-derived) hydrogenates CO 2 to CH 4 via formate pathway at 220–300 °C. CO 2 adsorbs onto the zeolite, forming *HCO 3 − with surface –OH. Ni NPs hydrogenate *HCO 3 − to *HCOO − then *CH 4 .
