Abstract

Herein, novel variants of layered RP perovskites, Rb 2 Ca(NO 3 ) 2 Cl 2 and Cs 2 Ca(NO 3 ) 2 Cl 2 , with good optical properties, have been synthesized. The properties of Rb 2 Ca(NO 3 ) 2 Cl 2 are outlined.
