Abstract

A novel near-infrared (NIR) photothermal material, NPAB-55, was developed using an N-Pechmann dye. NPAB-55 nanoparticles exhibited high photothermal conversion, photoacoustic response, and photothermal cytotoxicity upon NIR illumination.
