Gold( i )-catalyzed cycloisomerization of triynols for the synthesis of 1,3-disubstituted naphthalenes via C–C bond cleavage
Abstract
Gold( i )-catalyzed cycloisomerization of triynols enables the chemo- and regioselective synthesis of naphthalene derivatives. A pivotal retro-[4 + 2] cycloaddition is responsible for the cleavage of the C–C bond.
