Abstract

for CuO- and ZnO-doped hydrogel nanocomposites, respectively. Furthermore, scavenging experiments showed that ˙OH radicals were the prominent species responsible for the degradation of CV. In this study, metal oxide-doped hydrogel nanocomposites were explored as sustainable and efficient photocatalysts for environmental remediation. The synthesized materials exhibited promising efficacy for the treatment of dye-contaminated wastewater.
