Abstract

Colorimetric method for detection of Mn 2+ is developed. Localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) property of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) is considered for sensing Mn 2+ . The extinction intensity of AuNPs increases when they interact with Mn 2+ .
