Loosely packed catalyst layers promote gas transport and flooding resistance in gas diffusion electrodes for electrochemical CO 2 reduction
Abstract
With a loosely packed catalyst layer, Pham and coworkers observed a longer GDE lifetime, attributed to the larger void volume that accommodated liquid seepage while maintaining sufficient space for CO 2 diffusion across the catalyst layer thickness.
