Abstract

DFT and PDOS analysis of the sulfur-modulated heterostructured NiO/NiS 2 /NiFe-LDH bifunctional catalyst (OER: 214 mV; HER: 81 mV at 10 mA cm −2 ) confirmed that NiO was the main mechanism for optimizing the kinetics of the HER.
