Ethanol-responsive fluorene-based fluorescent nanoprobes for photodynamic cancer therapy
Abstract
Fluorene nanoprobes are developed for ethanol-induced fluorescence “turn on” response and concurrent photodynamic therapy. Fluorescence-image-guided localized irradiation of the fluorene nanoprobes with visible light eradicated 80% of cancer cells.
