Abstract

Plant diseases remain one of the critical challenges in agricultural practices, especially in regions with little access to timely expert knowledge. This paper introduces a multilingual AI-powered mobile solution for plant disease detection in real-time and tailored crop care advice. It adopts a combined deep learning model that merges the lightweight MBConv layers of EfficientNet-B0 with the residual connections of ResNet-18, which has been selected due to its remarkable accuracy and efficiency compared with other pre-trained networks. Users can upload a leaf image and get instant diagnostic results along with context-aware recommendations on symptoms, treatment processes, irrigation, preventive measures, and optimal climatic conditions. A built-in chatbot enhances interactivity and accessibility by supporting English, Hindi, and Marathi. This app contributes to sustainable agriculture and helps reduce crop loss in resource-constrained environments.
