Abstract

Stuttering, a speech disorder, disturbs fluent communication and impacts the social and professional interactions of affected individuals. Traditional stuttering therapy lacks real-time adaptability as it relies on manual observation by speech and language pathologists. Phonic Forge is an AI-based platform designed for real-time stuttering detection and personalized therapy. It integrates deep learning models, including CNNs and LSTMs, for accurate speech disfluency classification and leverages large language models (LLMs) for interactive therapy. The platform is designed to make speech therapy more accessible and catered to individual needs. To resolve data safety concerns and privacy, it integrates blockchain blockchain-based decentralized storage.
