Abstract

Introduction Venous thromboembolism (VTE) is uncommon in children but the incidence of hospital-acquired (HA) VTE is 70-300 times higher than general population. Most HA-VTE studies are from Western population and some risk factors are inconclusive. Thus, this study aimed to investigate incidence and risk factor of pediatric HA-VTE in Thai children. Table 1 Baseline characteristics between children who had HA-VTE and those who did not Variable p Age (years), median (IQR) 7.2 (1.7, 13.0) 3.9 (0.3, 11.0)
