Abstract

A 33-year-old male with diplopia on lateral gaze had an MRI showing an enhancing mass at the orbital apex. It was resected via a transorbital approach. The lesser wing of the sphenoid and sagittal crest were drilled to expose the superior orbital fissure and orbital apex. The tumor was then carefully dissected and removed. He experienced a postoperative sixth nerve palsy, which resolved completely within one year. Publication History Article published online: 27 February 2026 © 2026. Thieme. All rights reserved.
