Abstract

The numerical analysis of the mixing behavior of an incompressible, axially symmetric dusty fluid jet has been investigated. The velocity and temperature of the jet are assumed to exhibit minor deviations from those of the surrounding flow. A perturbation method was employed to linearize the governing equations, including the continuity equation, momentum equation, and heat equations. By introducing appropriate non-dimensional parameters, the resulting differential equations were solved using the Laplace transformation method. Numerical computations were carried out to determine the longitudinal perturbed fluid velocity, and its magnitude was analyzed.
