Global existence of classical solution to the Einstein–Maxwell–Higgs system in higher dimensions
Abstract
In this paper we consider the global well-posedness problem of gravity coupled to gauge and scalar fields theory known as Einstein–Maxwell–Higgs system in higher dimensions for a small initial data in Bondi coordinates. Our starting point is to recast the second-order derivative nonlinear evolution equation into a nonlinear single first-order integro-differential equation. By showing the decay estimates of the solution and proving the contraction mapping conditions, we then use these results to prove the global existence of classical solutions of the system.
