Abstract

River catfish (Hemibagrus nemurus) is a fish native to Indonesia. The problem faced in the river catfish H. nemurus in controlled containers is the high level of cannibalism at the juvenile stage. To reduce the level of cannibalism in H. nemurus juvenile is biofloc technology. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the degree of cannibalism of H. nemurus juvenile at different stocking densities and methods of predation in the cannibalism of H. nemurus juvenile using biofloc technology. The best research results were in treatment A with a cannibalism index of 1.67%, normal mortality of 1.17%, and survival rate of 97.17%.
