Development of H5P-based interactive learning media in increasing students’ learning motivation

This research is motivated by the large number of students who are less motivated in learning, especially in English subject. English, as a foreign language, is often considered a difficult subject which psychologically reduces students’ learning motivation. Based on these problems, this research aims to develop English learning media using H5P which is implemented through the Learning Management System (LMS) at the Lampung State Polytechnic. H5P helps lecturers to create, share, and reuse interactive HTML5 content. Data regarding motivation was collected through questionnaires from 50 students as a sample. The research results showed that student motivation in taking English subject is maintained by using interactive learning media.
