Growth response of edamame (glycine max (L.) Merrill) with the application of liquid organic fertilizer and botanical pesticides
Abstract
Edamame is an edible soya from the green stage. Edamames have larger seeds than ordinary soya, sweeter, and more easily digestible. The cultivation of edamame in Indonesia is still small, but market demand is very high. Efforts are being made to stimulate the growth of edamame through the use of liquid organic fertilizers and plant pesticides. The purpose of this research is to stimulate the growth of edamame. The method of research used a random group scheme with three repetitions with the administration of liquid organic fertilizer and plant pesticides at three levels of concentration: liquid Organic Fertilizer P0 as control, P1 30 ml/L and P2 60 ml/ L, control plant pestiside K0, K1 25 ml/l and K2 50 ml/ l. The results of the study showed that the application of liquidorganic fertiliser had a real effect on the number of leaves. The highest average on P2 is 60 ml / l = 11,311a and the highest rate of herbal insecticide application on K2 is 50 ml / L = 10,444a. The average highest yield of plants: P2K2 60 mL / l+50 mL/ l = 49.933a. Best results achieved on treatment P2K2 = 12,933a.
