Developed heap-based optimizer for optimal curb of boost converter in base transceiver station for telecom tower
Abstract
Telecommunications is the technology that allows people to communicate with one another. One issue for this technology is supplying the necessary electricity for its towers in isolated rural locations where the grid is unavailable. As a result of this issue, the technology is forced to rely on battery banks and diesel generators for backup power. Although diesel generators are not resistant to the effects of the environment, they are widely used. Using the clean technology of the PEMFCs (which stands for Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells), this research provides a new, efficient, and environmentally friendly telecommunication tower power supply arrangement. To maintain the source value dependability, an improved PI-based converter is also used. An advanced form of heap-based optimizer (DHBO) is used to get optimal results for the PI controller. To demonstrate the superiority of the proposed technique, the results of the simulation are used in various settings and compared with Ziegler–Nichols and some optimization-based approaches, such as Grasshopper and Cuckoo Optimization Algorithms (GOA and COA).
